Con un post sul suo profilo Twitter, il regista David Ayer (noto soprattutto per The Fast and The Furious e per aver diretto Suicide Squad del 2016) ha espresso il suo sostegno per James Gunn e per il suo Superman: Legacy, in arrivo al cinema nel 2025.
Ecco quanto dichiarato dal regista:
Non vedo l’ora di vedere il Superman di Gunn. Devo dirlo. Al momento Gunn è l’uomo più coraggioso di Hollywood. Sta prendendo il comando della nave più difficile da capitanare in questo settore.
Il filmmaker ha poi aggiunto:
Noi facciamo film. Siamo intrattenitori. Non funzionari eletti che guidano una nazione. Quindi per favore, calmatevi tutti.
I absolutely can’t wait to see Gunn’s Superman. I have to say this. Gunn is the bravest man in Hollywood these days. He’s taking charge of the hardest ship to Captain in this industry.
