Lo scorso novembre, dopo essere subentrato alla presidenza di DC Studios, James Gunn (regista di Guardiani della Galassia, The Suicide Squad e Peacemaker) ha promesso l’arrivo di alcuni nuovi annunci targati DC entro il mese di gennaio, che finalmente ha deciso di annunciare.
Warner Bros. e DC Films ieri hanno presentato infatti alla stampa americana il futuro dell’universo DC, con un Q&A dove James Gunn e Peter Safran hanno risposto alle varie domande, delineando al tempo stesso quello che sarà il nuovo universo narrativo.
Entrando nel dettaglio, Gunn ha pianificato un arco narrativo di 10 anni interconnesso tra “film, serie TV, prodotti animati e videogiochi“, ma naturalmente non ha rivelato l’intero l’universo, bensì soltanto alcuni prodotti.
L’embargo è fissato alle ore 18.00 di oggi, allo scadere del quale ogni sito pubblicherà la tabella di marcia aggiornata con tutte le uscite previste da Gunn, il quale presumibilmente aggiungerà alcuni dettagli sul suo profilo Twitter.
Nel frattempo, su Twitter, diversi insider hanno iniziato a stuzzicare i fan, pubblicando un gran numero di GIF di personaggi come Superman, Lanterna Verde, Batman e Robin (vedremo un nuovo progetto su loro due, oppure vedremo Robin in The Batman 2?), Swamp Thing e Booster Gold.
